Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area

They strongly recommend that Lift Tickets and Rental Equipment be purchased online, in advance as equipment sizes are limited. Lift tickets and rentals can be purchased HERE.

A day pass for an adult is $62 while day and night is $83. You can book 2 and 3 day passes as well but they are non-refundable, no-transferable and cannot be resold. Visit their website for more information.

Laurentian Ski Hill

You must visit either the upper or lower lodge to purchase your lift passes. To rent equipment you must visit the upper lodge. There is a Terrain Park available as well which you must purchase a pass for separately.

A 4 hour pass will cost $36 per adult while the full day is $39. To use the Terrain Park is an additional $5 a day or $15 for the season. For more information visit their website.


Cross Country Skiing (Nordic)

Arrowhead Provincial Park.

If you are looking to go cross country skiing, Arrowhead offers 28 km of classic ski trails and 16 km of skate ski trails from beginner to expert level. Classic and skate ski rentals are available in the visitor’s center though quantity is likely limited. There is a warm up and lounge area where visitors can sit around a fireplace and enjoy the outdoors.

Day use fees are charged $21 per car per day or $67.80 for the season which is cheaper if you want to visit more than 3 times. You can reserve your spot up to 5 days in advance and it is recommended that you call ahead as they frequently book solid on the weekends. They do unfortunately turn visitors away when they are full, even if you have a seasons pass. Algonquin Park

Algonquin offers over 100 km of cross country ski trails. There are 4 trails in total of which 3 are packed, groomed, and trackset while one (Minnesing) is a wilderness ski trail and is not groomed at all.

You will need to purchase a Daily Vehicle Permit which is valid from 7am to 10pm for the date specified. Permits along highway 60 are $21/vehicle/day while everywhere else is $18/vehicle/day.
